Good Intentions And Good Plans Are Useless Unless You Actually Start Exercising

If fitness and health could be achieved by good intentions and nice words, we all would be the fittest on the planet. However, becoming fit requires moving out of a comfort zone and putting our body under stress. Nine times out of ten, we just are not prepared for such an exercise.

That is the reason why we come up with the funniest reasons why we are not going to the gym or going on a morning jog on a daily basis. We first try to shrug off the need to exercise by saying that we are not unfit in the first place. If you refuse to acknowledge a problem, there will be absolutely no pressure to identify a solution.

Once you start putting on weight and start feeling out your once comfortable clothes, you will be forced to admit that you are becoming overweight and unfit. That is when you come up with a detailed plan based on the perfect timetable to overcome your fitness issues. This plan is so good on paper that it is virtually unworkable in real life.

You spend time trying to find the right plan and this helps you stay in your comfort zone for some more time. The third stage is where you actually take the first step to start exercises. However, this turns out to be a short lived affair because your body reacts violently because it is very unfit.

You exercise for a day or two and then spend the next week or so recuperating. If you want to become fit, you will have to cut through this rubbish and start exercising immediately. If you want to get fit, you need to hit the gym today.
